any of you that Aleeva as any say about this are idiots. He is the ultimate wimp, and will do what he is told, he has no real power only the perception of power.

Sure you can. But it seems odd that after 10 years and 7 games of steadfastly defending this coaching staff at every turn, you finally see the other side of the argument after only 2 games.
Every coaching era has to en at some point.
That doesn't change the past that LSU has been on it's best run in the school history.
I just recognize that time may be coming to an end of this era and it was a fun one.

If the money is available that would really surprise me, given the state of the economy in Louisiana.

i just honestly don't get how we can't be competitive with arkansas anymore.

yeah, LSU fans that I know of aren't even angry and/or upset as usual. It feels very different right now. The Arkansas blowout was a pretty bad loss.
Most of the fans I know are all just WTF happened over the last two weeks. They are all rather calm and just don't know what to think. Probably the way the players and coaches feel too.

A sudden drop in oil prices doesn't take away the 100's of millions from last few years people have made

Man, it's not that you can't change your mind. It's that you were adamantly aggressive about it. Folks are gonna remember how you consistently called us shitty fans.

There was a guy standing on the field this past Saturday with his wife. He gifted 25 million to LSU. Gifted.
He also bought the Fournette jersey for $101,000. That's just one guy. I know it seems to you and me that 12 million is a lot of money, and it is. But there are folks out there who would gladly pool money together, if not one person pay it all as some sort of "donation" for tax purposes or something.

I can't speak for Bee Fense or anyone else but for me the main thing about the anti-Miles or "negative" positions is usually the posting demeanor of the people espousing them.
I have tended to agree with some of the criticism of Miles and staff when I've thought it was logical. But often people would post things with such vehemence and seeming immaturity that I'd find myself questioning if i was really a smart thing to agree with them. It just seemed to boil down to blasting based on a pre-conceived dislike of the coach.

You don't think that has hurt Oregon?
I didn't know he had a show cause. That is a fair point against him.

Graduated from a college in Alabama. Coached at Auburn, LSU, and FSU. His overall coaching record at a major football school in the south is 66-13. He's a southern college football coach. You lose.
In 1999 Nick Saban was a Big ten guy that played and had spent almost his entire coaching career in Ohio or Michigan. His "lack of southern ties" or "understanding of southern football" mean jack squat. Great coaches are great and it really doesn't matter where they are from.
Saying a guy needs to be from the south is just needlessly limiting your pool of potential candidates. It's that kind of thinking that got us Curley Hallman.

Miles does not need to go. That would kill recruiting for the next few years. And Alleva would screw up the hire, i have no doubt. Miles needs to become a harmless figurehead of the program like Bobby Bowden at the end. Let him stand on the sideline and give interviews, but turn over the actual playcalling/coaching to somebody else. Get his hands totally off of the x's and o's and need to bring in an imaginative playcaller to totally run the offense.
Also needs to find Peveto a soft landing spot at a junior high school.

So what I see is a poorly coached team. Period. No offensive creativity, stupendously predictable.
A change is needed, NOW.
Last week, Gordy Rush said one of the problems on special teams were players not WANTING to be on special teams. There are 1000 high school players that would kill for just one chance to play on LSU special teams. I think Miles and the coaching staff has lost this group of players, for whatever reason. But... a coaching change is due.

This is it in a nut-shell. I would suppose that all of us have been aggravated with Miles at times, hell, I know I have been. But some of the shite that has been said is ridiculous.
For instance people bitching about him wearing some sort of weird headset and mic during the Tennessee game his first year. Give me a break.
If saban was still coaching at LSU and he came out for a game and was wearing a christmas beanie and jorts, there would be thousands of fans dressed like that every game.
I have read several posts where people say they hated Miles the minute he was hired. The guy was never given a chance from some of the fans.

Funny how we have different standards for Presidents, and coaches. For example, people criticized President Obama for saluting military personnel, while holding a cup of coffee in his other hand .... George W. Bush regularly saluted holding his dog under his arm.
