completely false. but my biggest fear is that our roster is well-positioned to succeed next year but the coaching staff is not.
Dude, this really was our best chance to take the SEC. Alabama had lost their entire offense, their secondary wasn't going to be any better...This was it.
If you think Alabama is going to be an easier team to beat next year, you're delusional.

why r we playing arkansas again?

I think there was some improvement late in 2010.

While that may be true, expectations change as seasons progress.
We were 7-0, #2 in the nation with everything we could hope for at out fingertips.
Even after losing to Bama, division championship. SEC championship and playoff birth were still possible.
Then to just not even show up against Arkansas... To me, that was the final nail in the coffin for Miles.

No. He doesn't have a guaranteed 2 years. But he probably has at least 1 more.
That being said, 2 more ugly losses like the last two...... Who knows?

I just feel like we are going to wait until we waste the Fournette, Harris, Chi, Adams, Godchaux, Clapp class
This is precisely what will happen, crippling recruiting and we will suck arse for years after Miles leaves. And everyone will say, "Remember when we had Les Miles and won 9 or 10 games a year?" And his legacy will remain intact despite, or perhaps because of, him being all but run off.

Will they be easier to beat than this year? Absolutely. Can we do it? Depends on who is coaching.

Why is it that Les is continually is having to let go and replace staff? That is just one point of concern with major boosters. It is not working. Les needed a home run DC hire and couldn't do it. He needed a great OC hire...couldn't do it.
He seems to make good position coach hires, but sucks with coordinators.
The die has been cast...unless he beats OM and Texas A&M, he is gone.

Does anyone really believe that anything will change if Les gets another year?

With Stanford and Baylor losing, and OSU and other top teams looking weak, a win over Arkansas would have put us in prime contention for a playoff berth.
Instead, we got blown out at home against an unranked 4 loss team.
And this wasn't an aberration - these types of losses have occurred with regularity under Miles.

Ask yourself why this was the expectation... Two words - Les Miles
The only reason the expectations increased was because it appeared that Fournette was going rush for 2K despite the handicapped Miles offence. Now we realize that was just wishful thinking.

I figured next year would be Tigers best shot and Miles for another NC title..
We can him now.. Kiss that shite goodbye..
Florida (with their first year HC) says Hi!

The only way Alabama will be easier to beat next year, maybe, is if both Kiffin and Smart get HC jobs elsewhere for next season.

@JacquesDoucet: #LSU situation - @C_Hanagriff thinks for first time ever or in awhile, Les Miles is in a bit of trouble. Next two games crucial with Alleva.
So we can assume Alleva is aware of a proven championship HC ready to come to LSU should they let Miles go?
This is ridiculous! Nine days ago this board was lauding Les as both great coach and man that LSU was lucky to have. There was absolute delusion that LSU was going to into Alabama and run roughshod with the "best offensive line in the country" and the runaway Heisman trophy winner en route to a national championship. Now the thought is to blow the whole thing up and start anew? Newsflash people. Miles is the same coach today as he was when LSU was 7-0. If you brought that up 9 days ago on here, you were cursed and told to quit being a negative a-hole!
I have never been the biggest Miles supporter. However, unless LSU KNOWS it has a a proven championship HC waiting in the wings, any talk of firing him at the end of the year is absolutely absurd. What is LSU going to do? Fire him and just HOPE they can land a big time coach? Texas had all the money in the world to go along with historical prestige and a ridiculously fertile recruiting base. They had to settle for a coach that was WAY down the potential hire list. Contrary to what many fans might think, big time coaches aren't just biding their time until LSU calls
