And two more from the future SEC West. Just to put 17-13 in perspective.

Our coach in his first season didn’t win a national championship. He should be fired.

You can bury your head in the sand all you want, but this entire AD has a very long way to go having been passed up by multiple programs in our division.

I don’t think people understand how far LSU has fallen behind in the SEC. I guess they’ll figure it out soon enough.

Also puts in perspective how far we have to go to try and actually be “the man” again in college baseball. We have the 5th or 6th best facility and 5th or 6th best program in the conference

Today doesn’t show a good thing friends

They have fallen back but it’s not going to take long for them to catch back up. Jay Johnson hasn’t even had a recruiting class yet. Can we at least allow him to do that first before we give up on him?

He’s a west coast bum. They don’t do well outside of the west coast.

Finished the regular season 3rd in the West.

I don't understand the negativity of people like you. LSU was literally 2 SEC wins from 1st place in the West and hosting. That was the difference. And that was without any SP.

So 15-3 against non-Omaha SEC teams (in the regular season). And 1-1 against the future SEC West Omaha teams.
Best predictor of Super Regional success? A HC that has been to Omaha.

LSU lost to all the good SEC west teams they played and beat all the bad SEC east teams they played. Doesn't put anything in perspective.

10-2 against the SEC east
7-11 against the SEC west

They improved from a season prior. Look how bad LSU was against the SEC a season ago. Winning on the road against Vandy and Florida is still impressive to me. Again, without the SP we are use to having. I'm very optimistic about the future.
