Had no idea Clark Lea the head coach of Vanderbilt was Kelly’s DC at ND from 18’-20’.

I guess I’ve been taking a nap. Anywho,
Tomorrow’s game is really interesting for many reasons but mainly we will see if Kelly moving us in the right direction with a healthier Nussmeier or is Lea the young and up and coming coach because his teams look consistently pretty good now.
This is not the Vandy of old.
And back to my point, if it ends up being the latter is the case, it’s really time to consider understanding Kelly’s Path to the pasture is closer than you wanna believe.

It’s fairly common knowledge, but also not a crime to not know that. I hoped a year ago that Lea would get fired eventually from Vandy so BK could get him back at DC should we have a vacancy, but he’s unfortunately been a borderline elite head coach the past 2 years.

Its stilly Vandy, and his teams play tough.
So tomorrow is a fairly instrumental game for both coaches careers, and their current trajectory.

Elko, Lea, Freeman were all under BK at ND. How'd he whiff so bad on House is a mystery.

Not really. So was Brian Van Gorder.
The former ND AD is said to have both forced Kelly to fire Van Gorder, they were longtime friends, and the catalyst in hiring Freeman.
