Had much respect for Joel Klatt until yesterday.
He was clearly punching below the belt yesterday bring recruiting into the fold basically dog whistling that LSU shouldn’t be taken seriously by recruits.

On3 just did a wrap up of first year coaches for the week. Instead complementing the fight we showed and praising the final star line of JD. ( which was better than AR15’s) they make sure and point out that he wasn’t going thru his progressions as if he had a choice.

I’ve seen enough from this team to know we’re gonna bounce back hard. Can’t wAit to see these clowns do a 360.

That 4 quarter showed the buy in to the new regime. We were full speed in one direction. With good health we’re gonna blow the doors off this league.

People like you are why we have the worst fans. You place your expectations so unrealistically high you take it out on the team/players when it doesn't go your way.

LSU is not blowing the doors off anyone this year. Maybe next year if the ball can roll in our favor a few ways with some moves. Next week we'll be in a dog fight against Miss State and LSU could realistically go 1-2 for the season.

What you should hope for is seeing progressively more development and improving among the players the next 5 games. You don't see that, you need to start worrying.

His he FOX's Big 14 boot-licker? He was begging the CFP committee to pick Ohio State #1 in '19.

With that said, can you provide more detail? I can't believe a guy would after one game tell recruits not to go to LSU.

They will NOT change their narrative. We have win 3 national championships and they haven’t changed their narrative. Don’t ever forget,….they think we are having too much fun down here. And that is baaaaad. Their need to be taken seriously, which they shouldn’t, necessitates the need for a foil. And that’s us!!

He was talking to Collin Cowherd on his weekly wrap up show.
He was joking about Kelly which at this pot is leagal but also made a few quips about how recruits should be or will be having second thoughts about coming to LSU.
Which is out of line. And basically hate. Our recruiting is on fire.

Why do you people do it?

Why do you get your panties in a wad over what some sports figure says?

Exactly how many recruits do you believe will allow what this Joel Klatt said make them decide where to go?

How many top recruits have him as their advisors; "I'm gomma wait until I read Joel Klatt to decide."?

Jesus Pete, people grow some balls.

2019 showed me Klatt should not be respected. He rode Ohio state train the whole season and could not fathom any team being better. Yet didn’t make it past Clemson who he had thought had no chance to beat them.

Ignore all the media pundits. They don't know any more than we do, and in many cases, they know less.

I like Joel Klatt. I get he’s somewhat “anti-SEC,” but I think it’s less about disliking them/us and more about what he genuinely sees as the health of college football being in jeopardy with the monopolizing snow ball behemoth that the SEC has become. And he works for a direct competitor of the network that currently owns the SEC’s rights.

That said, I don’t think a whole lot of recruits are going to be influenced on where to sign based on what he said on a daytime sports talk show after 1 game in early September. Who cares?

Why did you have “so much respect” for Joel Klatt? He blatantly sucks hard.

No I was and am still expecting big improvements this year. The people acting like complete fools were the same idiots that expected us to suck at worst or be 7-5 at best. These were the Billy Napier fanyboys and the idiots that acted like a complete fool when Kelly was hired, acted like the sky was falling when he let Corey Raymond walk, and cried like bitches when Ed O's departure was inevitable.

I still expect big things. I'm still expecting upset wins later in the season. I see changes that this squad can make right now that would really improve them.

If people think these problems linger all year, just watch.

These dudes never change, I remember Saban’s first year at Bama, didn’t go great, they said, “this guy failed in the NFL, he’s lost his touch with the college players….paying him all this money….”

Obviously we know how that went. I’ve been one of those impatient Tiger Fans, I’ll admit it, it’s been a lot of losing these few years, 13 out of the last 24 games LSU had lost. But I am also at a place now, where BK needs time, and he will succeed.

I watched the clip. It wasnt nearly as bad as you say. Klatt does double speak about Kelly. I think the whole "famuhlee" thing is so overblown.

LSU has always been an easy punching bag, because frankly they have had LOTS of material.

Our last 2 football coaches were CLOWNS and as well as our AD's, Presidents, and our PR dept was a poop show.

Pile on top of that being crushed in a rematch by Saban in a title game
Kicking a Heisman finalist off the team
Wade beating Cal on Super Tuesday then have the Hoops Mob come after him
Miles Clock gaffs, eating grass
Then Coach O

I have said it once on here and I will say it again; the largest issue wasn't with the team, it was Admin. When FSU scheduled the Week 0 game, they should have as well. Especially considering you have a new head coach, coordinators, systems, and so many new players. I am NOT saying the team didn't have issues, but the biggest improvement is always between your 1st and 2nd game.
