ESPN posted the wrong score. It wasn’t posted a 9.9 in the arena.

Oh I know. That’s one of the reasons I’m glad the whole Covid year thing is over. Too much on these girls bodies. It’s amazing she or Aleah weren’t more hurt before this year.

I love Haleigh and she’s definitely the goat but she didn’t look the same this year.

Tough to follow that up from last year and she had to know it. She thought on it for a good while. Glad she came back. Warrior.

Well yea if injuries are a big factor I’m with you. I’m just assuming they will be healthy and personally hoping that Konnor and Kaliya both do AA next year, plus Kailin. You potentially have 2-3 Olympic level gymnast doing AA. I expect Lexi to make a big leap too.

Guess ESPN posted the wrong score when Chiles stepped out on floor and got a 9.9, huh?

Oh wait.

I worry about Kaliya specifically because both her Achilles are an issue much like Kiya but she came into lsu a bit more banged up than Kiya was due to the elite scene

Hopefully they can get her in a good place

Her form made a huge leap just from January to now. It should only get better next year!

LSU did themselves no favors but there may have been some SEC fatigue in play here. Even in the announcers. They had no choice in the first session.

I really hope we start recruiting more level 10’s. Surely jay can see the difference in the health of the girls that are level 10 vs elite. Jenny should have figured it out by now but she still underperforming with her “stacked” roster of olympians.

UCLA isn’t mediocre. This came down to sticks. They stuck way more routines than we did.

Vault score seemed to be the difference. Was about 0.3 lower than the season average.

They were tonight. We didn’t get nearly enough sticks.

We stuck only 1 out of 6 bar dismounts. Only chop stick vault and beam they didn’t have enough higher end routines with only Konnor going 9.9

LSU had several sticks that did not get even a 9.85 . While UCLA sticks are scored in the 9.9 or better range.

I agree it almost didn’t matter what you did or where you landed as long as you stuck it.

Every teams vault score was low. The vault judges were just more strict all around.

We screwed ourselves with bars.
