its difficult to find a quality coach now days...just look at struggles of auburn, tenn, arkansas.

we have a head coach of great integrity who excels in recruiting, molding and overall development of players in an honest and humble way

Yes, he is a quality coach. He says that word all the time in interviews; therefore, he is a quality coach.

He knows how to recruit well, I'll give him that.

On the other hand we are LSU. We have a state full of talent all to ourselves. Auburn has Bama, Arkansas outside of Springdale doesn't have much, and neither does Tennessee.

Just saying.

If only all the Miles haters knew and understood that the flashy guy doesn't always maintain such elite success in this conference.

Again it was pathetic all those people wanted Holgerson over Miles as HC at LSU.. Or even fricking Bobby Petrino.

Miles run a GREAT ship. Runs a very excellent program, and I would not want any one else. Other guys you gotta worry about dirty cheating or possibly jumping ship or just flat out suck.

And we did so much with that talent for many years. That argument holds no water

How the hell have they won so much, historically? Best coaches in cf history?

A lot of our players come from out of state though

LSU wasn't nearly as attractive all of those years. The argument absolutely holds water.

I'm not sure under Majors, but Fulmer recruited very well nationally for a while.

when this season is over, and true 20 20 hindsight kicks in, i think the coaching job miles has done this year with all the personnel losses and having to rebuild an offensive line as the season progressed will be seen in a much better light

Keep thinking that. Saban knows of the talent in Louisiana and poaches at every available opportunity. Without an excellent recruiter at LSU as the gatekeeper, every competent recruiter within 900 miles will take a piece of the action. Don't believe it can happen? See the 90s.

Just give it up Bob. You are like those sad little humanoids that still went to Swaggarts church after he got caught with the hooker. They just couldn't admit they had been wrong even when the evidence was overwhelming.

Miles is slowly but surely grinding all your criticism down to dust by just continuing to pile up victories. All the little nits you guys pick are being made irrelevant by the growing empirical evidence that is Miles win loss record.

All the happenings of the last couple of weeks should have helped you gain some perspective and eroded your irrational fear of Saban and Bama being infallible. That particular feeling, is what leads most of our fans to continually underrate CLM.
