So three false starts and two illegal formations over three games warrants the clueless head coach stepping in?

How about because if Canada beats Texas and O shites the bed vs Miami, it will be a PR nightmare and no... it's not in the past in that case. In that case it's in the past when O is gone and Alleva too for enabling O.

How about lets watch LSU play a game first before we condemn them.

It is 100% evident watching this game. He was absolutely held back and did not have full control over that offense.

I have seen stuff I didn’t see any last year from Canad

Please be specific. I’m seeing pretty much exactly the same offense. O-line shift. Multiple speed motion. Also Maryland put up 50 on Texas last year so this isn’t something new.

To our DL coach’s credit, his reneging on his promise not to interfere with the offense did lead to a reduction in those pesky penalties of the first couple of games, but also led to a shellacking by Miss State, an ugly win against Syracuse, a loss to Troy and our clueless AD stepping in to say let the OC run his offense, after which we won several games and gave Bama a handful at their house until our DL coach stepped in again to screw up our chance of winning the bowl game against ND.

That all said, I hope my Tigers beat the crap out of Miami today. Geaux Tigers!!!

Maryland is looking well prepared for this game. Texas looks lost. I'm pretty surprised.

Knee jerk response:

Watching Maryland so far and having watched Pitt in 2016, there was definitely something wrong with Canada here. SEC defenses, personnel, other coaches, head coach... Something. Regardless of blame, it’s obviously an anomaly.

BUT... Texas is a pretty terrible defense. Has been for a while.

And not taking into account the final result, feeling much better about not hiring Herman.

It’s interesting there are two LSU storylines in this game.

Edit: They just showed some Texas defense stats that indicate they were pretty good last year, but in my heart I know they suck.

Canada is a cancer.

Would you rather him or the god we have as a DC? Because that's what it came down to.
