So, yes, I am confused about how those people could allow it to stay buried for 4 years.
If you really wonder how these things stay buried, I suggest you read the book Missoula. LINK It gives insight into how difficult finding justice is for many victims in sexual assualt cases against football players. There is no set playbook on how to deal with being raped by a public figure and many victims prefer to not go full scorched and tell the press and set off a shite storm.

Thank God it was under a different head coach and AD when it went down
not all of it according to the article....they mention CEO as being aware that there was sex between Guice and one of the girls

Are you insinuating Lester Earls son is the redshirt? Is that what’s wrong w him?

Curious to see how O tries to talk his way out of this one
He would simply deny knowledge and point to very recent situations where a player was accused of sexual assault and removed from the program. Then he states that he'd never allow that in this program.

What's the worst that could happen, they get rid of O and the first call would be to Joe Brady.
Good that you're worried about the important stuff!

Then why did it take 4 years to get out? I mean, there aren't many reporters alive who wouldn't want that story. All it takes is one leak to open the flood gates.
happens all the time, R kelly, Michael Jackson, etc etc etc
Money/Power is a pretty good insulator

They talk about the incident happening in the spring of 2016
Coach O was still 100% the o-line coach

Orgeron was extremely close to Guice and made it clear publicly. Simple denials are not going to suffice on this one.

Terrible situation.
If LSU didn't do a thorough investigation or any investigation at all then heads need to role. Our compliance dept suspends players for smoking weed but potentially lets things like this slide.
If O had any knowledge of this he should step down. That's a huge IF. This is a brand new era of Me Too shite and the firestorm on LSU would be almost impossible to stop from the media.

I’m not sure I’d assume the victim had good parents unless that’s been proven? If she dated a football recruit it’s probably more likely she came from a rough area right? Not to mention the recruit may not have wanted this pursued hard to risk his scholarship?

To be clear
The articles note the events happened in Spring of 2016 and June of 2016
Miles was head coach 100% at the time

Let’s get a couple of things clear.
1)There are absolutely no facts in that story implying O knew about any rape allegations. In fact the girl he made the comments about never even filed a complaint. It’s clear that Guice was telling the team he had consensual sex with her. That’s what O heard and was trying to smooth that over.
2) Second girl is the potential big one. If she filed a Title IX complaint and the school did nothing thats a really bad look. BUT, once again there’s nothing in here about anyone directly involved in the football program knowing about her complaints and ignoring them.
Overall the report is much more damning on LSU’s title IX office and tennis coach, who outright told the girls parents she didn’t believe the rape allegations.

None of that means he'd be made aware of rape allegations that happened while he was the defensive line coach.
The amount of people who dont actually read what happened is sad.

I'm aware of the facts. That will not change the way this is covered in the media. They were best buds a whole year after he was accused of rape. That isn't going to play well.

Simple denial? Orgeron has multiple specific examples to point to that show how he handles sexual assault accusations.

Coach Os name was put in there purely for clickbait
He was not the coach during either incident, and the story of him approaching the player is somewhat ridiculous

yep.
they read "guice, rape, LSU, Orgeron"
then say "hurr durr he should step down"
which is exactly the buzz the article was hoping to create among today's stupid
