No. We have a Court system and Laws in this country. Apparently, many of you do not realize this.

We do not try cases in the newspapers or on Twitter. The 1st thing necessary to try a case is to FILE CHARGES which neither of these two females did.

Individual victims do not press charges. It's up to the individual prosecutor's office to pursue charges after hearing from the victim. You don't know what you're talking about.

Contextually speaking, he played in games. There has to be some complicity there.

And the former player mentioning that he "believed" Coach O knew that it was non-consensual sex.
Did he "believe" that or is he saying that he "knows" it? Because those are two different things.

The coach O comments sound ridiculous. Based on the timeline of events, I'm not sure how O is culpable here since he wasn't even the HC.

there’s literally zero proof O had any idea of these allegations. There’s not even an allegation that anyone told him informally, and there’s certainly no proof of any formal allegations making their way across his desk
The fact that you haven't seen it does not mean it does not exist.
You could say this about anything. The fact that you have not seen a unicorn does not mean it does not exist.

So you get raped and tell the coaches but you don't go to the police ?
I smell a 'she got caught messing around and it turned to rape after the fact' type of scenario.
The thing that keeps victims from going to the police is the shame and embarrassment but this girl told coaches, the boyfriend, etc so that's obviously not the issue.
I don't buy it.

Incident 1
Took place in spring 2016 with Miles as head coach
Girl then let a friend on diving team know, who then informed her coach, who then informed lsu officials that contacted the girl but the girl didnt want to report and press forward
Then, a year later we have a random girlfriend sleep with people quote from Coach O
Not sure what else LSU could have done here, and the O quote put in here is pure clickbait shite
Incident 2
Tales place in June 2016 with Miles as head Coach and the female is a tennis player
She lets friends know, but no university officials. She then is kicked off by LSU for drugs, and sometime later after being kicked off files a report to Title Ix
So, depending on the title ix investigation, or the potential the womens tennis coach knew more, im not sure exactly what LSU did wrong, but it certainly doesnt mention anything about football coaches withholding anything
From reading the article, I think that is a pretty good summary, though I am not sure if the girlfriend was #1 or #2. The fulcrum upon which this case rests will be
1) Whether or not a Title IX report was filed, and any follow up to that.
2) What the tennis coach knew.

Not if the entire staff though this was just a case of one player hooking up with another player’s girlfriend. Did Haslett bench Joe Horn for snaking Willie Roaf’s wife?

Again I don’t know how O would “know” about it being rape, considering the victim never filed a formal complaint and never told a single school official about it.

If the O part is even true it sounds like he was just tying to squash a beef between 2 players where he thought one of their girlfriends had slept with the other guy in the past. From the context provided it doesn’t sound like he had any clue about what had actually went down.

The title ix report or non report is a big issue and leaves LSU with a lot of liability, for sure

Sounds good, unless the alleged perpetrator has been charged with a crime of violence against another woman. Now it sounds like a pattern.

What also keeps victims from coming forward is people who tend to shame victims first. Your post is the classic example.

I get your point, but this is the former player (ex boyfriend of the girl) saying that he "believed" that Coach O knew it was rape.
So again, I'm asking the former player. Do you believe Coach O knew about it, or are you saying straight up he knew about it and chose not to do anything? That's kind of an important detail in an accusation. Because if you think you know or you "believe", but can't come out and say that you know for a fact - it makes it kind of a moot point. Because you're just throwing out general statement and opinion at that point.

Good thing the former player is sitting around on TigerDroppings to answer your weighted question in defense of Ed O.

I forgot, I was talking to the insider who sees all from mom's basement.
Even of you take these girls at their full word, there is nothing in their statements besides speculation that allege coaches knew anything more than "Guice got laid", which happens in college in case you weren't aware. Guice says its all bullshite, so we have a classic he said/she said. How about we all chill tf out and give the school a chance to respond since we've obviously learned nothing from Brian Banks?
