Bama won it's games this year with talent. Last night, they lost due to coaching.

Surtain, Moses, Smith, and others were all exposed and so was the coaching for those players.

He went to Bama to win a championship. Maybe he should have gone to Clemson. Bad “business decision” so far.

They joined the all star team for their free championship ring. Didn’t get it.

Surtain is a freshman. Give me a break. Not all freshmen are susperstars coming out.

I'd say it was coaching more than players being exposed.

Several times they looked confused on D and were out of position.

Kudos to Clemson for both creating that confusion and, almost every time, recognizing and taking advantage of it.

Based on his demeanor last night, he was clearly just in it for the free Charger.

Great post. Sums it up perfectly. Hopefully some of these recruits took note.

Yeah, he’s terrible; starting in the national championship game as a true freshman.

Surtain was pretty good through most of the year but got dusted when he faced good receivers in OU and Clemson. I think the key is to get physical with him. Hollywood Brown and Justyn Ross are both studs and ate Surtain's lunch.

Of all the Louisiana players to spurn LSU, this one bothers me the most since we could have had another player who wanted to be here, but Surtain strung LSU along and totally screwed us on both. I don't wish him well in his college career.
