Had LSU made a stupid move like aTm, the same fans complaining would have been bitching about Alleva caved in and committed too much.
When aTm is still losing to LSU annually and finishing 5th or 6th, their happy fans will quickly become angry they committed so much to one coach. Fisher is not close being a goat. Move the frick on. When/if we do not accomplish what is starting to look like a solid chance to return to the top and we lose 4 or more, then let's start looking. We have what we have.

We'll be ok. College Station isn't exactly the garden spot of the south. The Aggies will figure out a way to screw this up. They always do. We have to keep our in state guys and get a few out of Houston/Dallas and FL. I'm bullish on LSU right now. O turned the season around after 2 embarrassing loses. Compare that to what Jimbo did this year. Think about it.

Succeeded? By giving him a $75MM contract? Alleva's incompetence worked in our favor this time.

This isn't really breaking news. There were stories posted on TD about Jimbo's frustration with FSU facilities and and assistant salaries in 2015 and 2016. His own comments the week of the Clemson game this season also didn't go over well.
