It’s not a hipaa violation unless you are medical staff treating him. His family or a rando who heard something can’t be a hipaa violation.

There’s been a lot of misunderstanding of this post.
“He” is a random poster on here that said his sister was working wherever Brooks was being treated & was sharing info that his sister told him. Assuming that poster wasn’t making it up, that is a hipaa violation
