We are very excited for the game, but not the weak contract negotiations of our previous AD. $925K for this game is paltry.

The things we are asking are the important things... where are the best places to eat and drink?

LSU 24

Tyler Bass kicks the game winner as time expires.
...you sure he doesn't go to Georgia State. Hard for me to believe many, or any, Southern students would forget we have a football team. It's a pretty big deal down here.

Excuse me and my lack of manners. Thank you admins for allowing us Eagle fans to come visit your board for a few weeks. I'll be making the trip to Baton Rouge (with wife in tow), and look forward to checking off one of my CFB bucket list items...a night game in Death Valley.

And as many other larger fan bases have learned, we expect to win. Every single game. We normally travel very well, and often catch opposing teams off guard that just 10k-20k away fans (probably not that many for this one...too much travel for many) can make so much noise. If it's not a blowout, expect us to really add to the already incredible atmosphere.

Also, you will find times in the game where we get a 3 yard run, and both of our fan bases will clap. We love and live by the dive. You will also find times in the game where you may get lulled to sleep watching our offense, until there's a speeding bullet heading down the sideline or receiver standing alone in the end zone.

One more thing...we do host probably the best pair of corners in all of G5, and one of the best pair in the nation. Kindle Vildor and Monquavian Brinson will both be playing on Sundays, and Vildor can hold his own against just about anybody. He pretty much dominated against Clemson last year.

With all that being said, we know who we're playing. We know where we are playing. We know this isn't a down year. We know the Tigers have had all spring and summer to get ready for us. WVU admitted to spending a significant amount of time preparing for us, and had one of the best defensive performances I've ever seen against an option team. If LSU does the same, it will get ugly...but I know your next opponent probably has most of the attention.

But, we just hope that that group of 18-22 year olds have week 2 circled on their calendars while thinking they have a cupcake game.

Hail Southern and NO PLACE ELSE!
