In ANY organization that people join (whether a club at school, business, civic, church, etc) there will be other people there that you meet and can become friends.
That being said, I do agree that fraternity members (me included) do some very stupid and immature stuff, and I'm embarrassed at a lot of the stuff I did, when I look back on it.

You sound immature. Your life wasn’t better because you were in a frat. That’s just your opinion, and the way you present it makes others laugh at you.
I played ball and didn’t have time for a frat. I have nothing against frats, either. I think they’re great for those looking for that kind of social club. I did party with a bunch of people in frats. Some really good friends, I’m still close with to this day.
Not all fraternity members think like you, thank God. Most would be embarrassed by your view on outsiders.

I think that’s the point of over-the-Top satire...to be...over-the-top.
As far as the Frats go, I don’t think there’s any doubt they’ve lost their on-campus tailgating privileges for good reason. But I’m not sure every frat or sorority deserves equal blame and punishment.

Whoa there, Nellie. Most if not the vast majority of the Greek guys are a bunch of upstanding guys . They might get a little loud, a little boisterous, but they add to the atmosphere. Besides a bunch of Frat guys getting drunk at the games is not exactly a recent phenomenon. Actually, frat boys drinking too much and killing themselves only started after the university stated cracking down on the parties at Fraternity houses.
