Greatest individual talent wasted at LSU with no championship by GeismarGeauxer

LF7 has been a great running back for LSU and he is not the reason LSU has not won championship at LSU

Shaq has proven he was not a wasted talent

Jackson was good but was not a great talent other than shooting

Ben Simmons did not play enough at LSU to make a comparison

One individual does not win championships for a team, it takes way more than this and sometimes a little luck or other teams misfortunes lead to a national title

LSU could have easily been left out of the 2003 title game due to a few loses by other teams at the end of the season

Oklahoma State losing to Iowa at the end of 2011 season helped BAMA to the title game and beat LSU in the championship

BAMA having a freak play at the end of the Auburn game losing to a returned field goal enabled Auburn to go to the title game and lose to Florida State. Bama could have easily beaten Florida State

This story could go on forever and one player does not win championships

Certainly not individual, but remember the college all star BBall teams uncle Dale had with Rudy Mack and DeWayne Scales at forward, the Green brothers at center and guard, and Ethan Martin at PG. And then followed that up with Rudy Mack and Leonard Mitchell at forwards, Greg "Cookie monster" Cook at center lol, and E Martin and Hi C Carter at guards and couldn't win one damn NCAA title. lol

What? CJ was an unbelievable ball handler (could take anyone to the hoop), he was a great passer, he could jump out of the gym and he was great at stealing the ball. He was incredible.

SHAQ
Shaq is an NBA hall of famer and one of the greatest players at his position in history.

LF, Bregman et al are talented but Shaq has already proven just how great he was.

You forgot Willie Sims coming of the bench.

Across the street, we had Bill Elko, Leonard Marshall, and Ramsey Dardar at DT. All monsters for LSU

Too many to list if you're talking about all sports and more wasted talent than any other school in the U.S.

Yes anyone who says CJ wasn't a great ball handler never saw him play.

Shaq, Chris Jackson AND Stanley Roberts on the same team. Just unbelieveable Dale couldn't even win the SEC.

Conspiracy...the NCAA went to 6 fouls that year and Shaq and Stanley couldn't shoot free throws.
