I could give a rats arse about his slogan of “graduating champions.”

Why don’t we just disassociate the football team entirely from the school?
That way graduation and learnt stuff can just be bypassed altogether…
And we can ignore all these gay worry warts who whine about having a library and this sort of thing.
And we can all be La. “Dawgs”, rite?

2) Agreed. The idea that the guys we need give a shite about their schooling is insane and so utopian.
3) I don’t care if the type of players that we need ever attend a class M-F. Just suit up on Saturday and play like your hair is on fire.

Just about all the players are signed up for bullshite degrees to make it easy as possible to stay eligible. They go to LSU to play football not school.

Yes I realize this, still if CBK is trying to better this and make them graduate it's still better than nothing... people wonder why this world is the way it is and getting worse. It is because of stupidity like this thread

I assure you it’s not to see how many 5 stars graduate.
If they want to go to class and graduate in whatever bullshite program they are enrolled in that’s a bonus.
Let’s not pretend we are looking to be Vanderbilt or something.
They are here to win games and championships. The trade off is in return, they are afforded the best in coaching, nutrition, gear etc so they can get on with what they were out here for …playing in the NFL.
Oh and if they want, they are also afforded a fool proof way of earning a college degree with so many fail safes even a certain 5th yr Sr RB can stay eligible.

I would rather see a separate pre-professional developmental NFL minor league for guys who don't want to “play school”
Keep the “college” in “college football” for those who want to invest in their future and bring it back to being about a student athlete

Not many future lawyers, doctors, engineers on this team. They are in school for their one thing….to play football. Most don’t give a rat’s arse about getting an education. Their golden ticket is a pro contract. But the sad reality is that very few will play football after college and will have worthless degrees that will not get them a decent job in the real world.
