Grade Kiffin’s performance through 6 weeks

7.5 seems fair. He lost some points yesterday due to some sloppiness that I hadn’t seen much of prior to. The penalties etc

I am genuinely a long term believer in kiffin.
That being said, his grade through 6 games shouldn’t be higher than a 3-4. We do little well and have already lost multiple games. We have had the talent edge in every single matchup

Agree. We've lost to the only teams we've played that had a pulse, but he is dealing with a ton of injuries.

He came into a situation where we had a ton of holes. He did the best he could to fill them quickly. Some have worked, some have not, some are still growing
Lets go position by position
QB: about what I expected... with more time with Kiffin they will be improved
RB: Decent but limited
TE: was good until the injury to Treydez
WR: We don't have a true 1... lots of 2s and 3s but no guy who can take over a game
OL: outside decent to good, inside poor
On the offensive side the poor interior lineman is the #1 thing slowing this team down on that side of the ball
Defense: Coordinator needs to go. I assume Kiffin kept Baker to have some sort of continuity, but the guy just does not have it at the end of the 2nd or 4th quarters.
DBs- pretty good, not great, a few guys with potential
DL- really good when they aren't being held
LBs- Lacking

The offense is good but lacks WR playmakers. Green being out hurts, but he’s not the kind of playmaker I’m talking about. It’s more like Nabors, OBJ, Chase, Jetts and Landry. We have nobody who will win the battle on the deep sidelines when covered. And the QB is a turnover machine.
The defense is good, but not consistent enough to travel and win if the offense stumbles.
