Landry said he represents his constituency, but LSU's constituency is more than Louisiana. A lot of alumni live out of state and our voices must be heard too. I don't want the USL governor to pick our coach.

If morons like you are against it then I am for it. He never said he is picking the next head coach. He will pick a board that will perform the search and hiring process. I’m sure he will be involved but that board / people putting up millions of dollars to get all this done will have the most say.

Emmeritte was the final decision maker on Saban, but it was a search commitee.
That is basically how all of higher education works on the majority of hires. What Woodward has done the past few hires is out of the norm.

This whole thing is stupid. Woodward made a bad hire but he shouldn't be fired. And now politics are involved and they should not be in sports. shite I wouldn't trust any Government to handle a budget of a sports program it would just go in debt like the Government.
