I think everybody should reserve judgment until we see what coach we wind up with. I think it's going to be Sumrall and it's probably been that way from the beginning. And I won't be mad about that

Woodward cost alumni $50m+ in buyouts between last two coaches. The way contracts are heading, he likely would’ve given out a 10yr/$140m contract that was fully guaranteed.
The only way to save money is to hire someone not as proven, not change ADs…

I'm assuming whoever paid kelly's buyout will have the final decision on who to hire.

I've gone from being excited and optimistic to accepting the reality that it possible to completely botch this hire. At least Alleva isn't invloved?

Elections have consequences. Same idiot who brought you Omar the Tiger and thinks taxpayers pay coaching contracts and buyouts, is now firmly in control of LSU footballs future. LSU sports is the only thing Louisiana had that isn’t a total embarrassment. Landry looking to change that. Scary times ahead.

This is the only place that has an unfavorable opinion of Woodward.
Normal fans remember the Mulkey hire, Jay Johnson hire, Jay Clark and what all those have produced. So what Kelly didn’t work out, shite happens.
