The next person that brings up gorilla ball should be thrown in a cage with a gorilla.

We actually play baseball today.

I'm with you on the literally thing, but language is not concrete. Meanings can change based on widespread usage. Merriam-Webster and the Cambridge Dictionaries actually have the informal usage listed as an intensifier. A communication studies class at LSU was one of the more interesting classes I took and the professor went into great detail about this.

He only post when someone literally has some type of grammatical error. I think he sits at his keyboard all day long waiting to pounce like a puma

So, by actually playing baseball, when a team hits .220 for the season & wins the NC like UCLA did, that's good baseball? I am no fan of those 12-10 games either, but I'd take that style over a team BA that low winning it all.

I think the record is 77 straight games, starting with Morris' in '96 and ending sometime in '98

We got swept by Bama in the regular season series year and outscored 50-7.

Then came back and bet the for the SECt and the Natty.

Did you miss the part where I said that I didn't know that?

Then you've never listened to Lyn Rollins, Doug Thompson, or Ronnie Rantz call a game or talk about LSU baseball. They mention it all the time. You really can't claim to follow LSU baseball and have never heard that stat before.
