Correct me if I'm wrong but in 1997, didn't LSU homer at least once in every game that they played that season?
I know the season total was 188.

thing of the past, bat change not too long ago killed this concept
then you go to omaha with a huge field now to go along with it

There was a season they hit a homer in every game.. and I believe they actually hit a homer in 82 straight games over 2 seasons.

What does this have to do with the OP's question?

Yes they did.
That's one of those facts you should know if you claim to follow LSU baseball.

I hit 45 of those home runs in 97.

That's awesome, because Brandon Larson lead the team with 40

Yea I don't know why they keep saying Larson lead the team in HRs even though I had 5 more than he did.

Drunk arse.
That was an awesome season though. We get spanked for one of the worst losses ever and then beat their gump asses for the title. You couldn't script it better than 97! Forever LSU.

I follow LSU baseball and didn't know that. I started following close during the 2000 season when I was 11 years old. My first memory ever was watching the championship game. Been hooked since.

There's literally no way to not know that. It's mentioned quite often.

The glory days when it was truly intimidating for a visiting team to play in tBox...now they know we are softies that give victory laps and high fives to opposing teams

Literally no way? Did you miss the part where I said that I didn't know that?

Forgive him. He's one of the vocal majority who thinks "literally" is an intensifier.

Come on buddy, I doubt any of our fans under the age of 25 know that.

If some of these teams can survive the Box, they deserve a victory lap...
