Does this mean Jordy is "out"? That would be surprising.
Better late than never. This should have happened a long time ago. Hopefully Gordy will just report what's going on down on the field and leave the cute comments/comedy out.
Hultburg now needs to take over that high school kids job as pre and post game studio host. Absolutely can't stomach Kevin "Run on sentence" Ford) When that happens all will be well.

Wasn't it previously announced that Gordy stepped down from his pre-game and post game shows with Charlie and will be replaced by Risher ?

I am not a fan of Jordy he has no backbone and would spontaneously combust if he ever criticized a coach.
I agree, anything is better than this Douche Bag.

Risher should be standing in front of a cigar store, he's so wooden.

You are correct. Alan Risher will be doing the pre- and post-game shows with Charlie.

If Gordy thinks somebodys fricking up he calls it like he sees it.
The announcers are approved by the LSU athletic department and if an announcer makes over-the-line disparaging remarks about a player or coach, he'll be at home for the rest of the season watching games on TigerVision.
I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing, just it is what it is.

Who going to do the coaches show that comes on Sunday night? Jordy or Gordy

This is a good move for LSU. Gordy is a football guy. He'll provide some good insight and knowledge with some comedy added in. I liked Jordy but he's a basketball guy.
Gordy Trivia: Rated ahead of Barry Sanders at RB coming out of high school. No shite.
eta; btw, Gordy is still a tremendous athlete and is still fast as hell.

How the frick does this a-hole land a job like that? He was a 2nd rate QB and that's all he talks about when he's out in public. My family saw him one night in Destin and he came up to the table because me and my kids had LSU shirts on. He walks up and leans over to my kids and says, "Did you know I used to be the quarterback on that football team?" pointing at my little girl's shirt. My daughter, 10 at the time, just looked up at him and said no. He lingered around our table for a while before the uncomfortable silence finally ran him off. Just a weird guy to talk to.

Oh yeah. The days of Gordy calling out the play calling are gone. LSU won't put up with that shite from someone on the payroll.

it's a shallow pool, but gordy is fine, beats the heck out of radio Jim "I will always look at the dark side" Hawthorne 26 years and counting...but wonder how the rantards feel about Gordy being on the TAF Board? guess that makes him one of them...to some on the baord

Agreed.

Well...so much for that. One less thing I need to worry about trying to catch...
Good for Gordy, but bad for Baton Rouge radio. Charlie is fine, but it doesn't work nearly as well with Risher.

I would have rathered Hanagriff and Moscona than Hanagriff and Risher.

I don't doubt the truth of this, but is there a link somewhere? How do we know this for sure...

It's in the 2011 media guide.

This can't really be breaking up their Walk-Ons post game show. I'm severely disappointed now.

Didn't realize that many people dislike Jordy. I've always been a fan of his.
