No bad W’s. Period. On to the next game. The passage of time, playing time will be this team’s best friend.

It’s a W, which I guess counts, but that wasn’t a good win

Damn good win.

Gotta give St Mary credit, they kept grinding and got their high powered offense moving. But unlike previous collapses, we didn’t let up, kept attacking the basket, and made enough clutch plays to hold on. That’s a good team we just beat on a neutral court, thrilled with this W. It’ll be a resume booster come tourney time.

Overall, they did some good things. They shot pretty well at 44.5%, shot 35% from 3 and were 88% at the free throw line (22-25). They also only had 11 turnovers.

However, there is no way that team should outrebound LSU by 9. It's a lack of hustle and technique and they have to correct it if they ever want to reach their potential.

It was a good win.

On to Furman, the third, ranked team we will play in OOC. They are unbeaten.

It's a neutral site victory vs a team that COULD end up in the top 50. On that basis alone it's a good win. However, the final 10 minutes doesn't exactly give you confidence this team can grind out several wins in SEC play. They simply don't defend or rebound with any heart.

I think Wade is intimidated by the talent level and afraid to light a fire for fear of them checking out on him

You don’t see anything wrong with the team completely breaking down in the final minutes of back to back games, losing one and almost dropping the other?

It might not have cost the game tonight, but like we saw with Houston, better teams will capitalize on that

Good Win and Good to see Wade engaged and coaching his team down the stretch.

God this fan base has some miserable fricks. Not a perfect win, but the team made the plays down the stretch they needed to to win the game. Something they didn’t do vs Florida State or Houston.

It's mid-December. We have a talented team, but there isn't much experience actually winning at this level yet. On top of that, there were lofty preseason expectations, and then the sudden tragic loss of Sims.

People need to chill out about the on-court product not being overly impressive right now.

Why because u think they aren’t elite. St. Mary’s is a Marqutte or DePaul back in the day program. They are a solid team.

Good win against a decent team but it appears we lack direction or leadership. There seems to be a modest desire to win but not enough for champions. The athleticism, basketball skills, and knowledge of the game are there. Maybe a couple of good wins will excite the team. I’m a little disappointed in waters as I thought he would set the tone but it appears at times they play better without him.

Fla St and Houston are better teams than a 7-5 St Mary's. It's alarming to see this trend in big games this year. The better teams will beat LSU all year if they don't figure it out
