I hope they win, don't anticipate it.

Milroe can connect on deep balls and that seems to be our Achilles heel this year. Our defense couldn’t stop Mizzou or Ole Miss. If we want to win this game, it has to be in a shootout.

We'll probably be lucky to put up 30 points. Bama's defense isn't a slouch like Ole Miss or Missouri.

Obviously I'm referring to a Saban coached Bama team. You don't just walk into BDS and win by 17, so don't expect it. LSU fans are fricking retarded if that's the level of arrogance they have going into Saturday.

Hats off to Bama on that play because it was clever. Also, generally better than letting them walk down the field most of the time. That defense didn't get burned much that year at all.

I actually think a blowout is possible. Obviously it depends on houses defense and protecting JD

With a Freshman secondary Bama will exploit that to the max.
Alabama doesn't have the quarterback, offensive line, receivers, or running game to do that.

LSU has to get up by 2 scores just to have a chance. Which is not likely.
LSU has been up by 2 scores in the 4th quarter in 6 of our 8 games.

BK needs to understand a great offense is nice to have. But in the SEC you need a strong defense to win championships.
This hasn't been true for about a decade in college football. Unless it's an all time defense (which alabama doesn't have) the all time offense (which LSU does have) wins

LSU could lose big in this one.
There is a MUCH bigger chance LSU wins by 20+ than Alabama winning by 20+

But it's not. Our achilles heel is intermediate passes, which Milroe has been bad at hitting. The long balls we've given up were on total busts and breakdowns ala Arkansas.

Same. I have not changed my 2 TD prediction any even with knowing who we likely wouldn't have on defense, and it finally being confirmed.

I almost agree, but Super Offense #1 in NCAA not just good (record setting)
Defense not so much !

I'm sure there will be none of these with a bunch of freshmen DB's with little experience. They will probably be better than our starters, we were just saving them for Bama anyways.

You apparently don't play enough attention if that is your assessment. Tackling has been our biggest problem as well as coverage. Our weakness has been the underneath and the lack of tackling which has allowed for big plays. I would def not say that deep balls are the Achilles heel.

I hope that you're wrong and an avg-abv avg gets it done. I think they will be better and get it done on defense but, I don't panic and freak out when I hear some bad news like most around here either.
