OM is on the way out and he knows it. Same thing with Arky and Petrino. They were ranked in the top 5 season beginning and lost to ULM early, lol

Ole Miss is done

At least there was respect there with the Bama hate. Saban just whipped our asses most of the time.

There’s nothing to respect or like about Ole Piss

Dudes just a giant cocksucker

Ole Miss will miss promoting him in a few years when the program tanks. Chambliss is his last hope and then it’s downhill from there

Lol what the hell does that even mean? Like the NCAA cares? Dude is dumb as hell. How do you blatantly cheat and get so caught in a cheating era? That's on him. He's that dumb. If he had anything on LSU, he would slap it on the table. He doesn't because LSU isn't dumb enough to do it like him. They simply contact the agents to talk to them so they're not directly talking to the athlete. He has no teeth on this. Take your medicine for being an imbecile rookie on this entire affair.

This is pretty much the nuts and bolts of it.

I’m sure talking to agent when not in the portal is technically tampering, but it’s gonna be hard to prove….
Texting a photo of a check to a player that already exited the portal and enrolled at another school…. Well that’s a little different

talking to the agent is also tampering.

so schools are finding ways around even that.

It’s hilarious that Ole Miss was dumb enough to make this fricking stooge their head coach. It’s going to be great watching their panic hire run their program back into the ground.

This is not all that different than Will Wade’s first stint at LSU.

Golding got reckless and got caught because he has not been a head coach at a major program long enough to learn how to cheat.

Everybody cheats at every major sporting program in the NCAA, but not everyone does what Wade did or what Golding did.

So Pete says he’s been tampered with for three years, which is way before Kiffin was ever at LSU. What gives?

A player is allowed to leave, and follow, his coach if he leaves….. DUI Pete isn’t describing an Apples to Apples comparison of the 2 situations….

They both recklessly offered players money outside of the rules in that were in place at the time offer was made and got caught.

They just got caught differently. Wade was heard on an FBI wiretap and Golding was tattled on by Dabo.

The defense of both Wade and Golding is that everyone else is doing it and to try and divert attention to others.

In an era with little rules, he still figured out one of the only ways to still get in trouble with the NCAA. He deserves to get hammered by the NCAA for being that dumb.

Also he allegedly told the NCAA that he'll bring it all down if they come after him, effectively admitting he did it

If the NCAA moves expediently on this, could easily see him getting the boot before the season even starts...well, unless until they go the Trindidad Chambliss route.

Trying to blackmail the NCAA into not enforcing their rules isn't going to work

What rule was WW caught breaking and what evidence do they have?

Wade was heard on an FBI wiretap

Saying what and breaking what rule?

The difference is IF what Dabo says is true, then there is real evidence with documented time stamps.

Never claimed the NCAA could prove anything.

Wade and Golding both got reckless and failed to go through the proper middle men.

Different sets of rules for each, but Wade got caught talking to the “agent” / money man when he should have had a layer of protection between him and the money man and Golding got caught talking directly to player when he should have been going through the player’s agent for a level of protection.

I wonder what they have on LSU?

Lane could not contact a player enrolled at Ole Miss after he signed with LSU. His staff that stayed over and helped OM could.

Do NCAA rules even address this?

OM did cross the line of contact with a player while enrolled at another university. Unless they got the NCAA to ok it first. Which doesn't seem likely.

If Ole Miss had anything on Lane they would hold it since it would penalize them as well. If they get penalty here, maybe then they feel compelled to throw what they have on the table because it doesn't matter at that point. They would of course have to back the claims up with evidence. Seems to be what Petey is being coy about in his comments burning others down.

As far as LSU coaches go, nothing is going to be done here. Ole Miss okayed LSU coaches to coach their players. Of course tampering is happening there because Ole Miss was okay with it at the time. Probably more along the lines of if a player asks about it while you have direct contact coaching them you can respond. How are they going to prove this? Wiretap? Which is illegal?

Like I said above though, has anyone looked at the rest of the country? Some of these coaches that left took almost the entire team and you want to complain about LSU tampering 3-4 guys from Ole miss? Lol!

Really. The only people who can testify are people who are aligned with LSU’s interests. They aren’t going to sabotage themselves.
