Did they happen to announce the actual attendance yesterday? I sat in my seat the entire game and don't remember hearing it.

92980. It was a sellout, but LSU never announces actual attendance. WAFB reported 14,500 no shows.

So you enjoy seeing a close play replay on the big screen that is cover with Ads? Almost every game I have friends who comment that they couldn't tell what the outcome of a close play would be that was being replayed.

I watch a game differently if I go to the game rather than watching on TV. Both have their perks. Like the Bama game last year. Way better to be at that game.

LSU/ Baton Rouge need to do something about parking and traffic, more and more long time season ticket holders I know are starting to reconsider getting them.

This...people I know, when deciding whether or not to go to the game, almost always mention traffic or parking as the reason for staying home and watching on tv.

Doesn't seem like this was as big an issue prior to LSU charging so much to park in BFE. Yesterday a tweet went out that all Free parking was gone. What I don't get is that Brightside was bumper to bumper at 8pm to almost river road but nobody went to the game?

I agree with both sides. I understand that with young kids it can be way more work than fun to go to a game, but as my son gets older we will make the trip down from S'port so he can experience Saturday night in Death Valley.

That's great - for you.

I assume you gave your tickets up so that someone who wants to go to games can go. Right?

I gave up my season tickets this year b/c my kids didn't want them, and I miss half the games for work. However, I have a problem getting to a game at 8 a.m. for 7:00 p.m. kick, to be able to get free parking. I refuse to pay $40 a game to park for me alone. If LSU made the parking $20 or $25, the pay lots would be full and very few would be bitching. By the time you tailgate all day, go to the game and then get in that traffic, it's a 15 hour day. I love the games...my body does not...

That's because there are thousands that come out to just picnic on the grounds of LSU on game days and have no intention of going to the game. It will never happen, but I wish LSU would give priorty free parking to the people that acually have tickets to the game. Want to come out just to tailgate, fine, but you're going to park way the frick out as possible. Let's give some benefit to the folks who are actually contributing finacially to the athletic dept. by purchasing a ticket, as opposed to the bums that just come out, make a mess then contribute to the gridlock following the game.

When I was in high school growing up in NOLA, my dad had season tickets. We got to campus around noon and drove right up to the student union to park. There was a big buffet in the ballroom, the game of the day on tv in the media room, and we would hit the Tiger Lair in the union for a snack after the game before heading back to NOLA. There was traffic, but it wasn't unbearable like now.

It was overall a fun, non-aggravating experience.

Now, the need for LSU admins to control every single aspect of access/egress of game day has ruined it for a lot of long time fans...
