he real question is if you know how to press the right buttons BILJ
my post record will show that I also thought it was a poor idea to continually slam our head up against the wall and not try to get men out of the box. My 2mil a year OC will also be well versed in this concept.
I also felt it was a good idea to continue to allow one of the best defensive minds in the game to run the D.
button pushing? Check.

Great. Now about your recruiting prowess and your team motivational skills? I don't see anything listed.
Also, have you worked under any successful, Super Bowl winning coaches that could have taught you anything?

I see you have the bar set pretty high for the next coach

BilJ, I appreciate your hard work today in retooling the rant to think like business men and executives.
However, you can be rest assured the rant is not an indication of LSU brass. LSU is not going to allow a program that ranks top 3 in wins since 2000 to hire an "iffy."
Granted, if Ed O goes undefeated the rest of the way......he has the job....sorry, there's nothing you or I or any LSU booster will be able to do to change that momentum.
Otherwise, the search will be nationwide, top 8 pay for a proven coach and people will line up to interview despite narratives otherwise. There is a 102k seat stadium, fertile recruiting grounds, proven track records, academic centers for athletes, and the highest paid coaching staff in the country.
Relax bud....you can be an equipment man though.

oaching under 4 different coaches who EACH won a national championship, something had to rub off!
as evidenced by his tremendous amounts of success at his previous SEC stint. Hoping something rubbed off is a bold strategy.

Oh I know, I'm throwing my hat in the ring for him just yet. Just thought that was an incredible stat. I do think he learned some lessons at Ole Miss though.

To be fair, coaching under 4 different coaches who EACH won a national championship, something had to rub off! And multiple Super Bowls.
I do hope this was said tongue-in-cheek. If not... good lord.

You mean 3 SEC wins, right? I'm pretty sure O won some Pac 12 games at USC.

If you don't get the LSU gig, you've got the qualifications for Louisville basketball
