So obvious Rant logic leads us to believe the two assistants are much more qualified than Bianco.

Are you trying to suggest the guy who took EAST CAROLINA to 3 supers and 4 conference championships is worse than the guy who's been to Omaha one time in 20 years?

or are you trying to suggest the guy who's been to 5 college world series in 13 years is worse than the guy who's been once in 20 years?

Godwin has been at ECU for 8 seasons
Won their conference twice
3 super regionals

McDonnell has been at Louisville 15 years
Won their conference 9 times
5 trips to Omaha

Bianco has been at OM 20 years
Won their conference once
6 super regionals
1 trip to Omaha

It is Godwin I am feeling. It is probably why he was so emotional after game today.

Pretty ridiculous take.

They are still their own people and McDonnell has had far more success than Bianco.

I like them all, but people are trashing Bianco. He’s competing with MSU for talent and is highly successful. He’s making chicken salad out of chicken shite. I’d take any of them, and would not have a worry if Bianco got this job.

Both were hired to current jobs off Bianco’s staff.

At this point Saban has probably won more games in Atlanta than Glanville ever did.

He’s been there 20 years
There’s been plenty of time to make adjustments

He’s not a bad coach at all, just not who LSU needs

This just isn't true. Go look at their facilities they have for their players. They're insane - may even be better than ours.

He has 500x times the resources people here act like he has. He's had multiple #1 overall recruiting classes. 20 years and one trip to Omaha is simply not good enough.

I'm with you, Jack.

But I'm fearing the pressure will be so great on Woodward that he can't make the best hire for LSU, and we settle for mediocrity with Bianco.

If it’s one of these three, I’m thrilled. They each built their program from nothing and cultivated huge fan support.

CPM drained the life from the box. We need someone who will bring back the magic.

are you under the impression that coaches who were once working for another coach, can’t be better than the coach they worked for?

What a fricking moronic post

And a Corbin Assistant. Maineiri, Bianco, Corbin. Was recruiting coordinator at ole miss and ucf. Was our hitting coach in 08 when we hit over 300 as a team with 100 hrs. He has a pedigree. And he's 43

That would defeat one of the key purposes of hiring Woodward- his prowess in making big hires. Which would be really sad. Otherwise, I'm worried Bianco hiring could be a repeat scenario of hiring Johnny Jones.

I hope Ole Miss gets beat by 20 runs tonight. Maybe that would help derail all of this hiring Bianco chatter.
