Why would that be the case? Any prospective employer filling a coveted job will do multiple interviews.
Take this at face value, for the sake of argument. Both Bianco and Godwin sat for interviews with Woodward. Neither were offered.
If I was a big fish in Omaha like Corbin, Vitello, etc., this would make me all the more interested to hear what Woodward had to say.

I just take it all to mean...Woodward is a smooth operator. He's spoken through back channels I'm sure with the representatives of the coaches he's targeting, and if he got a no he'd probably have offered Godwin or Bianco by now.

That’s why when LSU went to Nashville the next time they were doing a bunch of petty shite on the scoreboard and with the music regarding Corbin turning down the job.

I do seem to remember a trivia question they posted on their scoreboard that pissed off lsu admins. Think it was “how many coaches turned down the lsu head baseball job before paul mainieri accepted it?”

I believe so as well. I believe it’s Skip and/or his crew to screw up the process that Woodward is trying to keep quiet.

I have always thought Corbin was a long shot, but it is the LSU job. I have to think O'Conner is in play... and gets no discussion.
