frick that I'd have that sonofabitch's babies.

Seriously, imagine a President being as great at his craft as Saban is at being a college football coach. It doesn't hurt to openly respect one's foes.

As bad as LSU was this season, they had a better game plan vs Alabama than Georgia did!

I’m tired of Bama winning all the time. But you have to give Saban credit. He is the GOAT of college coaches.

I’m to a point where I think Bama is bad for college football. The entire nation Is numb at this point. I really hope a non SEC school wins this year.

One team being so dominant is just bad for the sport.

I live in OK, so I thoroughly and passionately enjoy salting the wounds of Sooner fans because their team almost always blows through the conference with ease and then just gets murdered once they face the big boys...

But at least they win their conference

My gosh, UGA looked like they were legit this year, moreso than any year before. They've been pulling in absolutely filthy recruiting classes for several years and they've got 4* and 5* backups. It's not like the facilities suck or the atmosphere sucks. I mean, the SECCG is played in their back yard and they just keep losing there...

WTF, Kirby???

UGA fans, I truly feel bad for you. I'll never say that to an OU fan because they're insufferable, but man what's it gonna take for the Dawgs to get over that hump?

I think the Alabama Dynasty is getting old for college football. I guess John Wooden and UCLA is the only other college dynasty that was similiar.

What if Michael Jordan won like 8 or 9 NBA championships ? How about Tom Brady being in the superbowl ten times ?

Sometimes, it just seems unnatural that these programs are maintaining such a stronghold on their leagues.

It's a program alright, the Nick Saban Program. CFB will be boring after Saban retires. Then when ALL the old schools are gone for good, hell with these young "quarterback gurus" becoming so prominent, goodbye vaunted SEC defenses, hello frickin arena league football or some such shite.

It's already Arena Ball. Alabama just scored 41 on one of those "vaunted" SEC defenses. If you don't have a star quarterback and elite receivers, it's unlikely that you're going to win a national title.

That's what Saban realized and Kirby still hasn't. It's good to be able to run the ball and play good defense, but your hands are tied if you don't have elite players at quarterback and receiver. Kirby doesn't have them, and he wouldn't know how to utilize them if he did.

Gee, thanks Tank. Now we will have 10 more months of Saban cock sucking. What a dumb a-hole!

We do. We all respect him. But goddamn can we ever just have one year without Bama? Their weakest team in a decade just won the SECCG and will likely win the NC. And they’ll be better next year. My interest in the playoffs is low. Same thing every year.

I agree with the OP. Dynasties are boring. I was really hoping for a CFP without Bama, OSU, OU, and Clemson. Bama under Saban has gotten a lot of breaks from voters and committees that other programs don’t. Bama has to lose twice to be out of contention but many programs can only lose once. That makes Bama’s CFP presence equally tiring; it’s not a level playing field.

It’s also possible to respect how good a coach Saban is and still want the dynasty to be over.

You’ve got it backwards. CFB is boring until he retires.
