Has anyone else heard this? Wondering if its real, or if he misspoke and meant milazzo.

Honestly Dugas looked really bad at the plate last week. Before the 2nd injury he was at least doing a good job of working counts and getting on base. Might not be worth starting him even if he is healthy

The Dugas situation this year has been strange

It really has. And for as bad as he has looked at times, he's still hitting .308 with a .479 OB%, which is the highest on the team.

I feel so bad for him. He started off slowly, but was just starting to get his swing back before he got hurt. With the emergence of Pearson, if he got close to his form of last year, our line up would have been so much stronger than it is now. With the emergence of Pearson and McManus and a healthy Doughty, Berry and Dugas we would have a lineup with no automatic out as we seem to have every year.

He just couldn’t get going because of constant injuries.

Hasn’t he had a few? I believe he’s started almost every game that he could be somewhat competitive in.

I’m not too worried about him playing or not. We’ve just got to get doughty and berry back.

I’m sorry, cranford is a good defensive 3rd baseman , but if we have to run him and bianco back out there we’re gonna have to get a miracle to get through the supers if we even go.

Them two are destroying our offense

I'm confused. What happened to him now? He was a full go all SECT.

Not sure exactly, but he was only a DH in the tournament.

Twitter Video

In this video at about the 18 second mark you can see him with his hand wrapped up pretty good.

He got fricked on 2 walks that were called strike 3 against UK on the second game. Other than that he’s been fine. Just hasn’t put as many over the fence. Let the man stand up there and get hit with the ball. I like base runners and he gets on base.

He just hasn't had enough at bats this year. He's a good hitter. I agree with the other poster that said he was finding his groove until the second injury.

Don’t shoot the messenger but this last injury he suffered is actually a pretty big deal and he’s just been trying to play through it. He’s a dog but it obviously is affecting him in a big way

There was that funky play where he slid head first into home and jammed his shoulder on the ump who was standing way too close to the action.

Spoke with someone on the team and even they told me they aren’t sure. Sounds like 50/50 at best.

Injuries have wrecked our lineup worse than any year I can remember.
