The facts are LSU lost a road game in the SEC against the best QB in the country and was like 8 yards away from potentially putting the game into overtime.
All this while having no stops and no run game in the first half and having a QB that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn all night.
If you want to be glass half full, there's plenty of reason for optimism.

The TD pass to Watkins was as good as a pass as you will see in college football this year. Be harsh but be fair.

Not sure what you're trying to say with this?
Exposed for who they are? Team got jumped on early in a huge emotional game on the road vs a good team, was looking like we'd get our doors blown off. Instead we adjusted, calmed down, and punched all the way back to a tie game. Even after Ole Miss then scored to go up by 8, we moved down and got to the 5. Take away that false start and I think we score running it, then crazylegs Leavitt on a 2 pt conversion.
If anything was exposed, it's that LSU is still polishing things but a damn good team.

Death Valley really needs to show up on Saturday. This is turning point for the season it could go either way imo. Show the players that we are still 100% behind them and are ready to fricking roll.

Maybe 2018 with sloppy early wins (but still: wins) vs. Miami and Auburn, and the team got better as Burrow started to become BURROW.
I’m not sure you understand how getting better works. What’s the point of a 12 game season if the team and the fans give up after the first loss?

It’s going to take a small miracle to improve the OL to a solid position group and don’t see Leavitt all of sudden finding accuracy and patience and trust in the OL.

Maybe it lights a fire under Leavitt’s arse, but there’s only so much you can fix in a season. Team can only afford one more loss, and it doesn’t look like we’re getting out of this season better than 8-4.
