A month ago I posted on here that don't be surprised if this 2026 team is a reprise of the 2025 team which went 7-5. I was shat upon by all and sundry.

Most people don't understand the critical importance, nature of:
M O M E N T U M
Especially with having the greatest Stadium, Fans, Atmosphere in College Sports.
Tomorrow night vs Texas A&M - will determine whether the priceless, unquantifiable asset of "Momentum" will be Won & propel LSU forward to a very possible Great Season, possible playoff birth and even compete for a Title!?!
If LSU losses tomorrow night in Tiger Stadium, Momentum will immediately be killed & even shifted against the Tigers going forward. It is incalculably powerful, especially with the passion/energy LSU fans possess.
Our season will likely rest, be determined 9/26 against A&M.
I think, feel LSU will definitely win. Especially if LSU (and Leavitt) can start strong early! If the offense sputters, Leavitt has not improved, you jeopardize losing Tiger Stadium's massive advantage! If Leavitt performs poorly, misses wide open receivers, tosses interceptions.....YOU MUST SIT HIM.....and give Landon Clark an opportunity to get the fans back in the game! It's do or die - the season is on the line - tomorrow night. You Must test/trial/see what Upside Landon may possess. Pull him if he struggles.
I think (hope) the fans will "hang in there" even if we fall behind to "will a win". But if LSU ultimately loses tomorrow night, the Momentum, Excitement will be dead. And the repercussions could be tragic for the season.
