Kelly deserves credit. So does Blake Baker. Team looked ready to play from the opening kick off.
I’m still mildly concerned with special teams, but I’m optimistic that we are a playoff team this year.

I have seen this comment quite a few times today.
I think that Sloan is going to call much more vanilla games when he has a legit defense playing for LSU. I do not think he will go Bum Phillips and sit on every 3 point lead LSU has this season, but he will call games very differently from the last few years.

Would LOVE if Sloan can add 2 plays to our playbook:
1. Counter - take Durham’s cutback on the opening drive & make that a play
2. Reverse with Zavion - Literally take FSU’s play they ran for a TD vs Bama. 0 could take that to the house.

That game was one mistake away from being tied annd a loss in overtime. And never should’ve been anywhere close to that.
