When we first hired him long before he took the reigns we considered him to be one of the best recruiters in the country. Securing talent is half the path to glory and he is doing his part.

Also if you listened to what he said this week in that article, he basically said that he's set up great relationships with the 2019 recruits and now needs to have a great season paired with it. He's focused on the season and knows how critical it will be to his overall success.
I think O knows that this class can be great with a decent season but it could also be truly special with a 11-2 or better type of season. He honestly needs to beat one of Georgia or Bama this year while also slamming our weaker opponents and pay back State with a huge win. Shut out victory there would be epic. I hope the man has no mercy this year. If he can score 60, then do it.
Of course he's going to want to get the back ups some time if we're up by a certain margin which is also fine. I would like us to beat Auburn away as well. That's probably asking for too much but LSU and this staff need a super season. This one is challenging BUT is also set up perfectly to prove your worth. This is a great opportunity but I won't say the only one he'll have, unless he tanks. But a 10-3 season wouldn't be terrible. Go Tigers! Let's go get em O.

As long as I have visited this board, there have been positive threads when LSU signs a big time recruit. Signing a 5 star recruit makes even bigger and longer threads.
Big Question is why you are sad that the team and coach are doing good.

I knew I wasn't the only one. The O psychos run to this board every time a decently rated guy commits to validate O's value to LSU. People didn't keep running to this board every time Les got a good recruit.
