Del Rosario is a big tall girl but they need to teach her to be more aggressive under the basket.. she was playing pretty soft against the 6’7” chick from SC.. but she’s a freshman learning the college game.. she will improve over time..

Sc was consistent. We jumped out like we were going to run them out of the gym.

Need to not renew some scholarships. Too many spots taken on roster by girls who are not SEC caliber

Could you tell me who those are and what you base that on? We only play 7 tonight and every one of those is SEC-caliber.

As expected. Bench was the difference in winning/losing.

I'll give the true freshmen a pass but Bartlett has been sitting for years not doing much.

But Kim needs to use the portal to fill up the roster this offseason. Before Poole/Smith' situations we didn't use 3 scholarships we could have used to supplement the bench

I don't see it. She probably has always gotten away with things because of her size. She doesn't jump at all. Against an active post, she is a distinct liability out there.

I don't know how she's going to get any more aggressive. Can you teach that to a soft player?

Anyone who watched Rosario shortly before coming to LSU and where she is, there is a DRAMATIC difference.

Give Kim a full offseason and you'll see a major jump year 2. She actually did fine today going vs the #1 team in the country. She is still very raw but she has a lot of upside. She contributed way more than I really thought going into this one.

Having no guard come off the bench to help MK or HVL out when they were tired was glaring though

Reese did a great job of keeping her in check. I want to say they said she finished with 8 or 10 points which is about half of what she averages.

What are you stupid? You’re going to pull Bartlett out of your arse as some reason for tonight? STFU! Look Kim started the year with basically 7 starters, and ended up with 5 because of injury. It happens, it’s called sports! Our fab 5 are as good as any starting unit in the game, and they will get better each game (especially after tonight) with the best coach in the women’s game. And come tournament time, she will have these girls ready for another run to the final 4. Book it!

I agree about Big Del. She is very unpolished right now although she did show a few flashes tonight.

Gonna be fun to watch her develop.
