Just a dumb play but that 1st baseman made some great snags last night. He’s a gold glove, moment just got to him.

First baseman’s momentum was carrying him toward home plate, pitchers momentum was carrying him toward 1st.

Pitcher didn’t run the play out, but also first baseman was close enough to make the force out.

That's the second weirdest baseball play I've ever witnessed only after last year when Watson decided to walk back to first base from second base after stealing second base and was tagged out.
