Getting ready to head to the Ole Miss game!

I'm coming from Georgia, so I can only make one home game each year. I picked Ole Miss, and I'm planning to start the trip after work.
Because of the distance, I'll have to stay in the middle of nowhere, Alabama tonight. But then I'll finish the trip Friday, go to the baseball scrimmage, and stay in Hammond overnight. Saturday, gameday, section 614 if you want to look for me. Sunday, head back, that'll be the tough part. But it'll be worth it.

I live in Gainesville, Ga. A friend who lives in Tampa met me in Mobile and we drove together the rest of the way to the LSU vs. FSU game. We met some of our old high school teammates and fraternity brothers in New Orleans on Friday and we had a ball. And we didn't even have tickets to the game. We watched it at a French Quarter sports bar. Geaux Tigers!

Good for you, and safe travels! I’ve made that trip many times. Holler if you need recommendations for backwoods bama accommodations. Honestly I always tried to make it to the Mobile area bc there are much better options, but that’s not always possible.
