Auburn 1997 was worse. Had LSU won, they would have represented the west in Atlanta.

I was but an infant for the '88 Miami game. I've heard plenty about it though.
I sat thru it.................44-3 and it was really not even that close...........
ETA: This was before they started delaying games because of weather. It was raining so hard you could not tell which team was which.............until one team reached the endzone...........

Auburn 1994. The only LSU game that made me literally sick to my stomach.
I went out to cut the grass after the game. I was so sick I took off my LSU hat and ran over it with the mower.
Damn Amadee.

Considering how the season played out. After we lost the game, we still could have made Atlanta had we beaten Ole Miss (after knocking off #1 Florida). I felt worse after the Auburn 97 game than any other.

Literally, how can anyone ever forget that deluge? Jimmy Johnson sent Mike Archer's career sprialing downwards.

My gripe with Dinardo was the Auburn game when Cecil Collins just could not be stopped in the 4th. qtr. and on a crucitial 4th.and 1 Dinardo decides to have Tyler roll out and throw for it instead of handing the ball off to Collins. Auburn took over and drove down the field for the winning score. In that game Collins ran all over Takeo Spikes for a long touchdown.
This and Tennessee in 05

Also, was this the game in which Shedrick Wilson made a # of big catches?
Yeah, I remember he was limping through the game at the end and still made some great plays!

Gerry Dinardo still owns my worst LSU moment, not Miles.
Mine would be watching that FG sail threw the uprights as time expired when we lost to UAB.
UAB...as the game unfolded, I kept thinking... UAB, UAB
That whole game was a nightmare to watch.

Hey, don't forget that last game coached by you know who, and lose to Iowa on the last play of his last game here. Then he throws the player under the bus for being out of position in that Capital One Bowl game...

This was really bad at the time because I didn't realized the severity of what was going on with the team in light of Katrina.
It was Miles' first home game and with the way we fell apart I thought my suspicions about him were confirmed. That he was in over his head. Glad I was wrong about that one.
Wait a minute . . .

I've never been more mad than Rkansas in 07. Could and should have cost LSU the national title.

and what exactly were your thoughts after Saban's effort vs UAB and Iowa???

I blame that on Booty. Everything I blame on Booty. Not a fan of the fella from the compound on Pines Road.

Well, that's like blaming everything from 08 on JL and giving Les a pass.
I don't think so........
Most college QB's don't get to say who plays or who doesn't, which plays are called or which aren't, how much time they spend during the week doing what, and on and on.

He called an audible. He changed the play his coach called for him. He changed to a play that wasn't in the play book.
I blame the golden boy from Shreveport for that. Not Saban.

gonna be hard to ever top that one.
I was there. It was terrible
We only thought GC was poor at play calling. Still calling pass plays when you have the game in hand...

In 1995 (when overtime had not yet come) Gerry Dinardo decided to kick an extra point in the back end of the game against South Carolina instead of going for two and the win. That decision resulted in a tie game and cost LSU the West Championship.
Scenario's in 1995 in South Carolina game.
Get a two point conversion = West Champs
Fail on two point conversion = 2nd place
Kick an extra point = 2nd place
Gerry Dinardo not choosing to go for the west championship still hurts more than Miles not calling time out in the Ole Miss game.
Where did you even come up with this scenario?
We went 4-3-1 in the SEC that year. The game was the fifth game of the season and we were 3-1 at the time. I was at the game.
Sheddrick Wilson had the game of his life and was taken off the field at least twice.

Does anybody remember when LSU played Texas A&M when Hallman was coach?
Texas A&M won the toss and elected to defer and kick off. Hallman insisted that the defense was on the field first and wouldn't accecpt the deferment and A&M got the ball to start the game and the 2nd half.
That really happened.
