as every team is dealing with some things he talked about. I will say Orgeron does a great job at getting the guys that are there for game time ready to play, regardless of the situation.

“Compete. Every game. No exceptions. Ever.

Win games you’re supposed to win. That means all of them. Enough with the trying hard crap. You’re there to win. Do it.

Get off social media before ballgames. Shut your mouth. Shut your mouth. Shut. Your. Mouth. Say what you have to say with sixty minutes of dominate play.

Stop whining about where you’re not, and commit to where you are. You didn’t make it to the Playoff. You made it to the Sugar Bowl. Your job was to play like your life depended on it…in the Sugar Bowl.“

Sugar Bowl was a huge accomplishment at one point. Playoffs have ruined that

They were ready to play against Bama and gave good effort. The Bama lines on both sides were better

Spot on, I will never agree with the me, myself, and I crowd of millinials who think they owe the team nothing. Notice I didn’t say fans, because they don’t, but they owe that team plenty.

True.

We got handled bigly in the trenches. It was men against boys. Could we have had a wrinkle or two to make it look more respectable, sure. Should we have had those offensively...imho - yes.

Bama has owned Emsminger. It is why he shouldn't be the OC imho...and I think he did a solid job on the season overall...especially given the circumstances. However, we pay him big bucks and should expect better than a "solid job".

No matter what though, I felt we were losing that game. If 29-10 makes your dick hard...cool beans.

As for effort, I think that the guy quoted by the OP made a valid point. Effort is never an issue and even in the 29-0 arse whooping...I don't think we quit. That speaks well for the guys.

Just my .02.

Totally irrelevant. We played that game hard, held Bama way below their average, just couldn't score.

However, we had a 1st Team All-American sit out the bowl completely. He didn't slack, he just quit the team after the regular season. Can't call that motivated.

NY6 bowls are still an amazing accomplishment. Theyre second only to the NCG.

Not for lack of effort. They just outclassed us in every phase. It happens.

Did he have them ready for Troy last year?

Hell, did he have them ready for Syracuse last year?

What about Southeastern this year when we had a grand total of 52 yards in an entire half?

He sure as frick didn't look like he had them ready for Bama unless the plan was for an arse whooping.

Every year. Every year for the past 7 fricking years. Can we not expect better? Can we not even look like we belong on the same field at as our most bitter rival?

Don't give me the talent gap bullshite. I hear every Jan./Feb. about our Top 5-Top 10 recruiting classes. We have roster littered with 4 and 5 star talent that miraculously excel in the NFL.

I see teams with far less talent at least score a point but we can't sniff the redzone? It's time to start raising some expectations with LSU football.

Sean Payton could have been the OC against the Gumps and it would not have mattered. That game was lost in the previous 2 to 3 years of O-line recruiting.
