I’m not sure uprooting and changing jobs will be beneficial for him while undergoing cancer treatment. But he is a damn good coach. Also his whole Legacy is at Coastal. No point in leaving now.

Should we be looking at coaches in their 60s anyway?

Sure, a guy in his 60s with cancer. If CPM gets cancer we can just keep him.

Get Rodriguez from Baylor, then they can cry we're taking their coaches.

Just a joke

Didn't Utah execute him by firing squad years ago?

First thing I thought of also when I saw that name. It was in 1977. I remember being fascinated by it as a kid.

Why? He has veen at TCU forever and I think has made it once to Omaha. He's not bad but we can get better.

He’s been to Omaha 5 times.

Given Woodward’s history, I think his sights are set on McDonell, IMO.

That list is horse crap. South Carolina hadn't been dominant since Roy Tanner became AD. Vandy should be #1 UF #2 Oregon state #3.

To me, Dan McDonnell is the most interesting, bringing a school that far north to Omaha 5 times ( most recently in 2019, the last normal season). The SEC schools that far north have not gone to Omaha in modern times, Kentucky - never and Missouri - 1964. Plus, he was an assistant at Ole Miss six years before becoming Louisville head coach, so he’s familiar with the SEC.
