That’s why he’s looked at as one of the worst commentators in the game. He’s not worth his pay that’s a fact. He’s horrible.

Guy is clearly biased. I’m not one to complain about that, but it’s extremely obvious and unbearable to listen to him. For whatever reason, the tigerdroppings contrarians flock to these threads to say otherwise, but the guy sounds like he’s at a fricking funeral when we’re doing well and flips it into high gear as soon as something good happens for the other team.

I don’t know how much further he needs to go aside from getting caught saying “frick LSU” on a hot mic or going full-Dick Vitale for people on here to accept it.

Announcers are human, they have biases, and Gary doesn’t like LSU for whatever reason. It is what it is and it’s blatantly obvious.

I watched the game this weekend at a party, so I had no choice but to listen to the commentary.

Danielson is just as bad as Verne was when it comes to the bias. I only had to suffer through one game where Verne was calling.

By the third quarter, the TV was muted and music was on. Thank god.
