reminds them of a Johnny Manziel type QB

Please please please

yea that would be awesome
I wonder if that comparison is drawn because of his height and ability to scramble, or can he actually run like that?
If he somehow gets in a game and starts ripping of 40-50 yard runs...lord lol.

He does look different from the other QBs in the videos the team has released. Lots of energy and precise foot movement. Nuss just has zip and sharpness in everything he does. He also looks smaller than the other QBs. Manziel might be a good comparison but we’ll have to see how he creates on the field.

His HS tape reminds me of Baker Mayfield lite

He's not ready, but can make a lot of WOW throws. In time will be special.

If he does really show capable as a freshmen it actually makes it easier to got with Max as the starter. Max starts, TJ and Myles transfer out, leaving Nuss as the backup.

If Nuss is not there yet, I would be a little nervous about starting Max and losing Myles and TJ.

If Nuss were to start you could lose all 3 QBs, plus little brother TE Johnson.

He's not any bigger when he's not standing next to them neither.

Actually Ed O says he reminds of of Joe Burrow and Stingley, Sr says Johnny Manziel.

I think they are going to sit him for a year to let him develop physically, but the way it sounds, it will be very hard to keep him off the field in 2022.

Nuss is a very good prospect but I still think Howard is the best prospect from a talent perspective we've had at QB since Perrilloux.

Dude is incredible. Him and Nuss will have an epic battle.

Jesus Christ . I would have never imagined our quarterback depth to be our greatest strength by far. We are fricking stacked.

Everything from his HS film to interviews indicate a kid with the "it" factor. He has the ability to make off schedule throws and use multiple release points with accuracy. He just needs some time in the S&C program to be able to withstand SEC level play.

The 2022 QB competition is going to be epic.

I honestly think that if Brennan wins the job in 2021
there is no if. the most important ability for a qb is reading defenses. Brennan is by far our best qb right now. Max did well but he would struggle bc dc's have tape on him. It's a lot harder when teams game plan against a qb. That's why sophomore slumps happen.

I’m a big Brennan fan but to say there’s no if is just being in denial.

There’s a real QB competition going on right now and it’s a 2 man race.

Nuss is getting praised but like others have said, he’s at a disadvantage cuz he just got here.

Idk who starts at QB against UCLA but I can also say with certainty that neither does O or Peetz.
