The entire situation in West Upper is a cluster.

The concession lines before and during the game stretch all the way back to the wall. It took right at 45 minutes to get food before the game last night. There's nowhere for anyone to walk to get to their seats, the restroom or to concessions. Everyone is packed in like sardines. I have no idea how that design/setup was ever deemed safe.

Still had fun, just could be a lot better if someone with a brain handled this stuff.

a lot are volunteers, youth sports teams, churches, etc. but a lot are employed by compass group. I had no issue buying a water, went at half time, didn't miss a single play.

We don't have anyone like that in the east upper. They're all teenagers with a few adults. LSU needs to overhaul the whole thing. Add a touchscreen register system where you don't have some 15yr old with a calculator trying to do math. See what it would cost to outsource the whole thing to where an outside company can come up with menu items that could be unique to Tiger Stadium. It's been needing a change for a long time and college football is just too big to not upgrade that part of it. LSU certainly has the money for it.

My favorite part is the broadcast is in 16:9 so the picture gets cut off so bad they might as well just show HGTV on the thing instead.

My seats are in the south upper 412 and its terrible in our area. I understand that these concessions are operated by churches and such. LSU should at least monitor each stand to see if these ppl are capable of doing it. It's great that they allow these organizations to make some money. But for the money we are paying for tickets and 6 dollar cokes and 8 dollar popcorn I don't think it's too much to ask for timely service.

What could go wrong with 100k going down at the same time?

The whole concession system is beyond archaic at this point.

Any of you Season Ticket Holders?
At the end of the season, you get this dandy little questionnaire e-mailed to you to fill out about, well, everything. From music selections to volume, to - wait for it - concessions.
Bitch a little on it. If enough people do, who knows...something may happen.

I know what a vending machine is.

LSU doesn't want bottles or cans that can be thrown.

That's why I specifically said a self service fountain drink machine.
