I can't figure Paul Mainieri's out. On defense, he has a strictly MLB attitude. He doesn't worry about holding runners close, he instructs his players to always get the out at first on a bunt, in other words, he forces the hitter to beat his pitcher. Then on offense, he goes all out aggressive, force the issue. We run bases like we're facing little leaugers that can't throw and catch, we bunt way too much, and we hit and run often. It's like we aren't patient and let the game come to us, offensively.
