Agreed there! Maybe he can jump up well above .200 soon to help improve his draft position. He's definitely got power and he's a gifted catcher. Personally, I think LSU has too many singles hitters in the upper/middle part of the line-up anyway. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it. If Ross and Jones continue to provide timely extra base hits who cares what their averages are ..... I just would like to see them both bat more - playing 16 innings last night was good for both of them from an offensive perspective. I would argue that Ross and Jones are the best 1-2 eight(8)and nine(9) hitters in the country.
