Do we just not tell our hitters to take a few against a struggling pitcher......or our are hitters just that hard headed?

Why do our coaches not instruct the players to take a few pitches in that inning? The guy was showing signs of frustration in the last inning so we swing at the first or second pitch in every at bat?

This. Now he's full of confidence and their weak bullpen stays rested.

Because the hitting coach is a scrub with too long of a leash.

Coincidence that Gausman has dominated in every inning that wasn't a downpour (but one pitch)? I think not.

Well we have seen their ace and 2nd starter. Do they have a 3rd pitcher too? Or does it even matter with our bats.

if i had no allegiances to any team and it was my first time watching, I would assume SB is the #1 seed and lsu is the #4 just judging by talent in the lineup.

He isn't as good as a lot of SEC pitchers we have seen but we aren't good hitters at times either.

For whatever reason guys with junk give LSU fits. The first OSU pitcher had a live arm in the last regional game and he got chased after recording only like one out, but then they put in a crafty guy with lots of movement and it stonewalled the bats. This guy is similar in that he doesn't throw hard but he has gotten a ton of weak contact. I'm not sure but he might not even have a K yet.
