More embarrassing than a promotional tweet with a picture of Dick Vitale in it?

I'll bet this, I'm more of a degenerate than I thought.

<15 TO + >33% 3pt for LSU == LSU will win this game.

I bet small, what you think $20?

Very early prediction for Auburn @ LSU:

LSU leads at halftime by 4 -- game knotted up at 50 midway through the 2nd half before Tigers get "stuck on stupid" and go 6 minutes without scoring, while Auburn builds a lead.

Final score Auburn 72, LSU 60.

Maybe if Woodward hired a coach worth a damn,

List out all these coaches you seem to think wanted to come to a program with a “bit of a problem” at the time of CMM hire? Go back in ya Time Machine and let us know who the AD could hire at the time to fix this mess ( the general) left.

Come on list em

Didn’t CMM arrive to campus with zero scholarship players. Really sucks that he lost his 2 best players this year, juniors that were experienced and ready to contribute after being in the program a while

That’s not really an excuse with the transfer portal. In yr 1 Mark Pope is killing at Kentucky and Mark Byington has Vandy competing in Yr 1 with only 1 returning player. I can understand Kentucky having a leg up, but it’s embarrassing that Vandy is decidedly better.
I also understand that the SEC is stacked with elite talent, but we looked like garbage against most of the tomato cans we played out of conference as well.

If LSU wants to build a new arena, the basketball program should at least be competitive and not the trash currently being presented.

Technically yes, but that really is a bit deceiving, 3 of them ended up returning to play here that year, I think most new coaches coming in could have talked a few into staying. Also, 3 of his best players from his 30-2 Murray St. team the year before joined the roster.

Vandy on the other hand who was 9-23, 4-14 only had 2 returning players from that bad squad and nobody was talking about how great their transfer class or recruiting class was and they were picked to finish last in the SEC by everyone this year. They've already won more than LSU did that year being referenced for LSU.

Just noting for context.

is this apples and oranges? I'm not even defending MM. But was NIL wide open when MM got here?

Because it's less of a hassle to stay than transfer, some of the players would have decided to return regardless of who the new coach was I have absolutely no doubt of that.

Wasn't it?
July 1, 2021
When did NIL start? Effective July 1, 2021, the NCAA approved name, image, and likeness policy allows student-athletes to monetize their NIL.

Idk about the NIL figures but Vandy's incoming players (transfers n croots) was ranked 103rd

No but a lot of things don't really matter for the big picture on discussion boards, we analyze and discuss and it matters to us. If falls into the year zero discussion and whether or not we think that is a fair and accurate depiction.

Of course the AD cares about one of the largest programs under his guidance. Only a complete idiot would argue against that.

The evidence indicates you are wrong.
When Woody arrived at LSU we won the football national championship and were making the Tourney every season in basketball.
