What's your story?

I see that people are still acting like Mario Goodrich could start as a freshman.

He's a very good player and definitely could've contributed as a freshmen with our current depth chart.

At very least would've been a solid backup.

I think its pretty mind blowing the NCAA even tests for marijuana tbh

They don't. They only test for performance enhancing drugs. I'm guessing that Fulton was approached in the football ops building and was caught off guard when told he had to take a drug test for the NCAA. He panicked thinking they tested for weed and made a terrible mistake by getting a teammate who was clean to give him a sample of their clean urine. He was probably caught when trying to pour the clean piss into the sample cup. Just my theory

So its exactly what was said to be happening all along through all the denials that it was drug related.
I want him to play as much as anyone but if what they say happened, happened, good riddance until 19. If its a mistake then hopefully justice wins. I'm not gonna feel sorry if the alleged tampering is true. Would he deserved punishment and lucky he's gonna get the chance to play at all.
If our people have any inkling that he isn't gonna be eligible that need to stop giving him reps over kids that will actually play. They need them.

He should have seen the future and abandoned the recruitment of Surtain, then forced Fulton not to fail and tamper with a drug test

So fricking dishonest.

Not one person is saying O should've made it an either/or proposition between Surtain and Goodrich. Both should've been takes which would've necessitated them planning ahead in December.

Right. Also nevermind that if he's halfway through a 2 year suspension, no seeing the future is actually needed. The suspension was on going with plenty enough time to plan.

And let's not forget that we essentially pushed Ardarius Washington out of the class as well.

Yeah I corrected.

Or he used artificial and the test caught it.

Or he used a friends or artificial and the temperature wasn't right.

Sadly, I have experience in this

Once had a friend's piss in a travel shampoo squirt bottle taped to my gooch with hand warms around it. Worked though!

Anyone denying Orgeron and Co. didn't botch CB recruiting badly this year is severely delusional.

The fact is most thought Surtain would come here, it's also a facto Goodrich wanted in, but they told him NO because they were chasing after a mediocre QB who we had little shot with. They were just fine with signing 1 CB this class, and ended up with none.

Now, here's where it's really f'd up. They knew Toliver II and Jackson were both leaving all season, Orgeron said as much himself. So they KNEW we were losing at least 2 CBs early to the draft. They also lost Saivion Smith, BEFORE THE SEASON. They also knew Fulton was suspended 2 years, and just hoped that could get down 1. The 1 unexpected thing was Xavier Lewis transferring, which they never counted on him anyways with extremely limited playing time his first 3 years here.

So basically, despite the fact we "lost" 5 CBs, 4 of which they had plenty of time to know was happening for recruiting...they were just fine signing Surtain OR Goodrich. And ended up with nobody.

It's mind boggling bad roster management. The bare minimum requirement should have been to sign 2. Now we're left chasing after backups from other schools on the transfer market.

The procurement and actual travel all just seems so ungodly uncomfortable.

So, have we been aware of this two year suspension for the last two recruiting cycles?

Well, if they fail an NCAA drug test they would be fricked too

The NCAA barely every drug tests, but when they do, they have a clear cut penalty you sign on to.

It sucks, but their is no conspiracy here

I'm not saying anything about a conspiracy, I just think it's fricked up.
